As the Outreach Specialist of Content Development & Strategy for the Creative Talent Development & Inclusion (CTDI) team, Bryan Bravo manages professional development strategy and offerings (craft, career, and branding) designed to propel writers, producers and directors to their next level or opportunities across Disney General Entertainment Content's television platforms. Utilizing a data-driven approach to identify gaps in the creative talent hiring pipeline, Bryan designs strategic talent development & networking sessions to provide access and opportunities for creatives. Bryan engages with community partners to establish outreach efforts, partnership and promotion of BIPOC communities. Prior to joining DET CTDI, Bryan Bravo established himself as a Creative Producer-Director, Industry Inclusion Strategist and Consultant. After his role as a script analyst at Diego Luna’s Canana Films & Mar Vista Entertainment, he headed NALIP's national talent & content development tentpole programs and events. He was instrumental in the inauguration and launch of NALIP’s Latino Lens Incubators with support from the Time Warner Foundation (now Warner Discovery). Since then, Bryan has produced and coordinated over 100 short films & TV projects, as well as leading a pitch market that generates over 1000 pitch meetings over two days. Bryan consulted on developing strategies to increase the representation of Latinx creatives and executives in the industry to the world's leading media and entertainment companies, including HBO, the Walt Disney Company, Warner Bros., Netflix, Sony, ViacomCBS, Showtime, CAA, WME, & ICM. Working with international film festivals and markets, Bryan has been key in programming and curating Latinx stories. Working with and establishing relationships with Festivals and markets such as, The European Film Market, Berlinale, Festival de Cannes, Toronto International Film Festival, Sundance, Tribeca, Festival Internacional de Cine Guadalajara, Argentina’s Ventana Sur and the Bogota Audiovisual Market. This has led to Bryan playing an active role in assisting the launch of the inaugural Latinx List and Latinx TV List in partnership with The Black List. Bryan also helped launch NALIP's Latino Media Fest, now in its5th year, which has led to directors and writers earning representation at the agencies and their content acquired & licensed. Similarly, he played a key role inaugurating the Voces Nuevas, short film competition in its 2nd year with Sony Pictures Entertainment. Bryan is a UCLA alumnus with a degree in Spanish Language Arts & Culture, specialization in Latin American Film. He is an inaugural member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts &Sciences' Nicholl Fellowships - Diverse Reader Training Workshop.
